Burlington Reads 2009
Library Staff holding the book that the entire town read - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver
The question was: What would happen if everyone in Burlington read the same book? The entire town read "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life," by Barbara Kingsolver. It is the story of a family that resolves to eat home-grown or local food for a year. The Burlington Public Library, along with many partners from town, hosted wonderful programs to support "Burlington Reads."
